Gabriela and Maria formed a Duo partnership in 2019 to explore well know standard violin and piano works that we all know and love, and also lesser known works both old and new. They recently recorded some works by Belgian female composer Pauline Viardot with funding from the Arts Council of Ireland Agility fund.
In 2019 Maria joined the staff in the MTU Cork School of Music.
Maria was delighted to be invited to join the Music in Kilkenny programming team in 2023. The Music in Kilkenny concert series have been running for over 40 years. They curate an Autumn and Spring series in Kilkenny city and county, in venues including The Parade Tower, St. Canice’s Cathedral and The Concert Hall, Thomastown to name a few!
